Good to know
Milton's Cottage has plenty of clothing storage in both of its bedrooms. There's also a huge coat closet at the front door. Each bedroom has a queen bed. The living room features a couch, a love seat, and a recliner, and is equipped with a smart TV. You can log in to your favorite streaming service. The kitchen is fully stocked and comes with most everything you'll need to cook your favorite meals. We have a dishwasher and provide a few cleaning tabs to get you started. We also keep cleaning supplies under the sink. You are at the lake, and you may encounter spiders or other bugs as the cold months approach. Our housekeepers battle them regularly. Thank you for understanding. There are two Kayaks down by the water. If you use them, please put them back where you found them. We keep life jackets in the chest by the water. You are welcome to use them. Please return them once you're finished. There is a boat dock available for your use. It's just to the left of our pontoon boat. We have a fire pit and some chairs. You'll see it on the way down to the docks. The fire pit closest to you is the one you can use. Please return the chairs to their original position. We may have wood stacked to the right of the chairs. You're welcome to use it. If you don't see any, there are some for sale at the end of our street. We do not offer laundry services, but a laundromat is conveniently located nearby. You can use the electric grill on the back patio. Please clean it when you are done. If you need anything during your stay with us, please don't hesitate to contact us. We will do our best to accommodate you. We hope you enjoy our 1950s-style cottage.

**Guest Registration Terms** Please note that you have a few steps to complete after we confirm your reservation. 1. ID verification 2. We require a $300 deposit two days before check-in and return it two days after check-out, provided none of the following have occurred: *Accidental or intentional damage *Missing or stolen items *Excessive cleaning required after check-out 3. We require a short-term agreement to be signed. **Laundry Services** We have a washer and a dryer in the basement. We do not provide laundry detergent. Guests have been known to leave detergent behind; however, we do not guarantee its presence. **PETS** No pets are allowed at Milton's Cottage. **Smoking** No Smoking of any kind is allowed inside our property. Any evidence of smoking will result in forfeiting your deposit. ★ REPORTING ANY ISSUES AT CHECK-IN We prepared thoroughly before your arrival, but we could have missed something. If you notice any pre-existing damage or other issues, please let us know immediately, within 24 hours after check-in. If any damage, malfunctions, or other problems occur during your stay, please get in touch with us immediately so we can resolve the issue promptly. You may be responsible for any damage caused by malfunctioning equipment if you don't report it to us right away. Travel issues not reported within 24 hours of check-in will not be eligible for a refund or partial discount. By booking, you acknowledge that our policy supersedes and overrules the Airbnb policy. ★★Sensitive Plumbing FLUSH ONLY TOILET PAPER and natural waste in the toilet. Please do not flush any sanitary items, wipes, paper towels, or other similar materials. (Not even "FLUSHABLE" items.) A $250 fee will be charged if professional services are required due to neglecting this house rule.
