Shaker Heights was built as a streetcar suburb a century ago and still reads that way — wide boulevards, mature trees, and a rapid line running down the median into town. The Van Aken District is a walk away: market hall, coffee, restaurants, Heinen's. The Shaker Lakes and nature center are close for a morning walk. Ten minutes west is University Circle — the Cleveland Museum of Art (free), Severance Hall, Case Western, and the Cleveland Clinic. Quiet at night, a real neighborhood by day.

The whole apartment is yours. Both bedrooms, both bathrooms, the kitchen, dining room, living room, and the balcony — no host, no other guests, nothing shared. Self check-in with a lockbox, so arrive when your day allows, not when ours does. Limited free parking is available on site, and free parking is available across the street; the unit includes laundry. We will send a detailed video; don't worry, there is plenty of parking! Couples traveling together tend to split it between the master and second bedroom; each pair gets a bathroom, which is the whole point of this place.

A 1930s brick garden apartment that reads like someone's home rather than a rental — original art on every wall, floor-to-ceiling books in the living room. Master bedroom: queen, six-drawer dresser and closet, a lounge chair, a bistro table for two under the windows, and its own full bathroom attached. Second bedroom: queen bed and closet, with the second full bathroom—tub and shower—just across the hall. Living room, dining table for four, full kitchen with a gas range, a covered balcony.

Most guests drive, and parking is free and on-site or across the street. You can do a lot on foot — the Van Aken District, with groceries, coffee, and dinner, is a walk rather than a drive. The RTA Blue Line runs from Van Aken–Warrensville straight downtown, about 30 minutes to Tower City, and it's the easy way to a game or a concert without parking. Pay at the station. Uber and Lyft are quick at any hour. Cleveland Hopkins is about 30 minutes by car, or the Blue Line to Tower City, then the Red Line to the terminal.
